I get so sad looking at this ; . ; (I made it)
This reminds me of ep 26. (; ___; -sob-
“Our Final Goodbye.”
I have this head canon that Fakir would have helped Ahiru get better and better at dancing without the use of Princess Tutu until she was just as good, but in her own right and not needing magic. So, she could don the costume of Tutu, but still dance in the way she would love to dance with him, as clumsy, silly Duck, graceful in her own way. And Fakir would smile and be patient as he watched her get better and better, and just be happy that they were together and that she was trying hard, and that that was his way of being her protector or knight in shining armor.
Duck lived a quiet life until she witnessed a mob murder. Now caught up in a tale involving a persistent detective, a dangerous mobster, and a beautiful actress, will she ever return to her quiet life again? Or will the mob catch up to her first? AU
Hey folks? Don’t let this stop you from reading this story. It’s amazing, well-thought-out, incredibly well-researched for the time period it takes place in, and brilliantly executed. This is a must-read for anyone that enjoys Princess Tutu AU fics. The writer (Mangaka-chan) also has beautiful art that she drew for it: HERE. And the fic link is here: An Uncommon Witness
Seriously, don’t miss out on this if you haven’t read the fic yet.
I’m glad this popped up on my dash and reminded me that I need to catch up on the fic! It’s not exclusively Fakir/Ahiru, since there’s Mytho/Rue in there too, but I’d say there’s enough Fakiru for it to warrant a rec here. ^_^
